We invite local restaurants to join us in a Celebration of our Salish Sea!

Deadline for FisherPoets & Filmmakers has been extended - join us!

Whatcom County brick & mortar restaurants or food trucks can celebrate SeaFeast by bringing the local maritime culture to their menus and highlighting local seafood items! During SeaFeast week - September 15th through the 20th, leading up to our weekend festival on September 21 and 22 - we invite restaurants to create an inspired menu item that celebrates the Pacific Ocean’s culinary bounty.

Important Dates:
Thursday, August 15th  - Registration Deadline

Thursday, September 5th – “Participating Restaurants” list goes live on our website.

Sunday, September 15th to Friday, September 20th: SeaFeast week, menu items run!

Saturday, September 21st & Sunday, September 22nd – Bellingham SeaFeast

Eligibility & Content:

Restaurants & food trucks within Whatcom County are invited to register their restaurant and menu item for promotion. In order to be listed as a “Participating Restaurant,” restaurants must list a menu item featuring sustainable seafood (preferably from Washington or Alaska) during the week of September 15 - 20, 2019. The menu item can be a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal, side or even a cocktail. We are excited to try all the delicious and exciting things you come up with! Some examples of past SeaFeast specials are: Bayou on Bay’s Happy Hour priced oyster shooters all weekend, Chuckanut Brewery & Kitchen’s Blackened Salmon Po’Boy, and Camber on Holly’s Crab Crostini.

Timeline:

Because we want to direct folks to your restaurant and to the festival grounds, we ask that restaurants submit their menu item idea on or before August 15th so that we can be sure to fit promotion into our social media schedule.

Benefits:

Participating Restaurants will be added to our website and listed on our Facebook Event page no later than September 5th. Additionally, Bellingham SeaFeast will include the restaurant’s menu item in social media posts on Facebook and Instagram. SeaFeast will drop off a flyer for your window, notifying customers that you are a “Bellingham SeaFeast 2019 Participating Restaurant.” If you leave your windows or doors bare, please include that in your registration; we will work with you to share materials or copy that match your branding.

Early registration will help us secure social-media space and plan accordingly. To register, please fill out the form below. Feel free to contact Elma at elma@bellinghamseafeast.com with any additional questions.

Bellingham SeaFeast seeks to infuse downtown Bellingham with the celebration of our waterfront. Join us!

Note:

Businesses participating as a food vendor at the SeaFeed at the Harbor weekend may also submit a menu item for consideration but may not be given additional social media priority. We love your enthusiasm – thank you!
