Bellingham SeaFeast is an annual two-day seafood and waterfront festival September 21 & 22, 2019. Join us in Downtown Bellingham, Squalicum Harbor & Zuanich Point Park!

General admission is free! However, some activities require tickets. More info available at links throughout and updates provided on the Facebook event. This schedule will be updated and is subject to change.

Friday, September 20th

Downtown Bellingham

4pm Select food trucks at Waypoint Park (1145 Granary Ave) and SeaFeast info booth until 7p.m. Fourth Corner Frames will stay open late (until 8:30 p.m.), with their show Tom Crestodina…a closer look.

8:30 pm Water-inspired short films at The Pickford Film Center. The film line-up includes:

  • Hyper Seine - Josh Jarvis

  • An extended clip of The Wild - Mark Titus

  • Servants of the Salish Sea - Pollock Pictures & Bellingham SeaFeast

  • Salmon Seining - Josh Jarvis

  • Love & Water: Riding Shotgun with Riverhorse - The Flyfish Journal

  • A preview of the Choir of the Salish Sea’s Seaside Rendezvous

  • Changing Tides: A History of Bellingham’s Waterfront -Brinnon Kummer, Roisin Cowan-Kuist & Jessica Vangel

Saturday, September 21st

Squalicum Harbor & Zuanich Point Park

10am: Festival begins!

10:15am: Legacy and Soul of Bellingham Bay Awards - Commercial Working Area, “Go Fish” stage


11:30am: Taste the Sea: A Sustainable Seafood Experience presented by Haggen Northwest Fresh Session 1



1:30pm: FisherPoets showcase on the Main Stage featuring Jon Lee, Sierra Golden, and youth poets


3pm: Survival Suit race in Commercial Working Area, “Go Fish” stage

3:30pm: Taste the Sea: A Sustainable Seafood Experience presented by Haggen Northwest Fresh Session 3

3:45pm: Global Heat, winner of People's Choice Award at 2017 Bellingham Music Film Fest, performs on the Main Stage

5pm: Taste the Sea: A Sustainable Seafood Experience presented by Haggen Northwest Fresh Session 4

5:30pm: Salish Star, the Bellingham Fire Department fire boat, demonstration along the shores of Bellingham Bay

6pm: SeaFeast Wharf vendors close

6:30pm: The Motown Cruisers perform on the Main Stage

8pm: Beer, music and all food closes

FisherPoets-on-Bellingham-Bay Downtown

Three venues in downtown Bellingham set the lights low and welcome salty sea stories, shanties, poems and songs to fill their bars in downtown Bellingham.

6pm: Venues open - Boundary Bay Mountain Room, Honey Moon Mead & Cider, Mt Baker Encore Room

6:30pm: FisherPoet performances begin

7:30pm Choir of the Salish Sea Performance - Whatcom Museum Rotunda Room

9:30pm: Sea Shanties with the Good Time Girls in the Boundary Bay Mountain Room, following the FisherPoets

10pm: Performances wrap up

10am: Day two of SeaFeast begins!

  • SeaFeast Wharf

  • SeaFeed at the Harbor

  • Field of Fun

  • Meet Your Fisherman on the Sawtooth dock

  • Waterfront Restoration Tour with Port Bellingham, Department of Ecology and ReSources - begins outside the Granary (1211 Granary Ave) and ends at Squalicum Harbor

10:30am: Kid’Sax Ensemble directed by Mark Kelly



  • Brews with a View Beer garden opens

12:25pm: Jon Lee perform on the Main Stage

12:30pm: Paddle Adventure Course - Basic - Session 2

1pm: Herring Toss in the Field of Fun with prizes provided by the Alaska Salmon Sisters

1:45pm: Prozac Mtn Boys perform on the Main Stage

2pm: Paddle Adventure Course - Intermediate - Session 3

3:15pm: Lummi Nation Black Hawk Dancers perform at the Main Stage

4pm: Bellingham SeaFeast 2019 concludes!
