Bellingham SeaFeast is a FREE two-day celebration on the shores of Squalicum Harbor dedicated to honoring our rich maritime culture, showcasing our thriving working waterfront, and celebrating the vitality of our commercial fishing and seafood industries.

Join us as we transform Bellingham's waterfront into a seafood and maritime lover's paradise, where you can indulge in the diverse culinary bounty that characterizes our corner of the Pacific Northwest. While admission to the festival is free, we also offer special ticketed experiences including maritime industry tours, an oyster expo, and exclusive VIP experiences to enhance your SeaFeast adventure.

Ivan Colin

Ivan Colin is a professional visual artist based in Bellingham, Washington. Originally from Napa Valley, California, he was inspired by graffiti culture and San Francisco's street murals. Despite initially pursuing Business Marketing and collegiate soccer at Linfield College, he discovered his true passion in the art department. His work evolved from graffiti letters into fluid, abstract, and organic paintings inspired by dynamic movement, fluidity, and natural forms. Colin now works full-time creating murals for businesses and is proudly married to Sarah with daughter Romy.
Thomas Vrba

Tomas Vrba is a full-time wood, metal, and chainsaw sculptor originally from Slovakia. In 2006, he and his Washington-native wife opened Tomas Vrba Studio in north Bellingham. Since then, he has created sculptures for public art projects and private collections nationwide. His artwork has been exhibited in Seattle, Vienna, Bratislava, and British Columbia. His Bellingham studio welcomes visitors by appointment and participates in the annual October Whatcom Artist Studio tour, showcasing his diverse sculptural works to the public.
Jason Allen LaClair

Jason Allen LaClair (Sienum) is a Coast Salish artist from the Lummi Nation/Nooksack, descended from multiple Pacific Northwest tribes. Growing up around master carvers, he began practicing Northwest art at age 9, initially focusing on Northern Formline style. Following elder guidance, he now creates exclusively in his ancestral Coast Salish style. His breakthrough 2021 project "Salmon Run" spans 700 feet on Bellingham's N. Forest Street. LaClair creates murals throughout Bellingham, Whatcom County, and the San Juan Islands, honoring his people's sacred relationship with the land and waters.
Ryan Henry Ward

Ryan Henry Ward, known as Henry, is an inspirational artist born in Bozeman, Montana in 1975 and raised on a farm. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, he developed his distinctive illustrative style characterized by bold color palettes, confident brushstrokes, and compositional mastery. These qualities have established him as a rising star in the art world. Ward is renowned for creating over 500 murals and an extensive collection of canvas paintings that adorn public spaces, businesses, and private homes, inspiring thousands daily through his vibrant artistic vision.
Brandon Nelson

Brandon Nelson discovered wood carving in 2019 when a giant Hemlock tree fell across his family's Squalicum Mountain driveway. The six-foot stump inspired him to create his first eagle sculpture, sparking a passionate hobby. Specializing in Pacific Northwest sea creatures—humpback whales, orcas, and salmon—Nelson draws inspiration from master carver Tomas Vrba, whose work and wisdom continuously push his artistic skills forward. When not carving, he works as a Bellingham Realtor with Compass and enjoys training, racing, and adventuring with his wife Heather and children Hayden and Jazzy.

Oyster Expo in the Squalicum Boathouse

Saturday & Sunday, Sept 26 & 27, Hours TBA | $30

Dive deep into the world of Pacific Northwest oysters on Saturday, Sept 26 and Sunday, Sept 27 (hours TBA)! SeaFeast's Oyster Expo lets you sample up to a dozen freshly shucked oysters from four or more local farms. Meet the farmers behind your bivalves and even grab some product to take home if you just can't get enough. Open to all ages, though keep in mind these are raw shellfish — so plan accordingly and come with an adventurous appetite. This is Pacific Northwest seafood culture at its finest, and it's one shellfish experience you won't forget.

All American Marine Industry Tours

Saturday, Sept 26, 10am-2pm | $20

Take a peek into the world of modern boat building with a tour of All American Marine. All American Marine is located on the shores of Bellingham Bay where vessels are built in a new state-of-the-art 57,000 sq. ft. production facility. All American Marine has attained exclusive North American building rights with one of the world’s top naval architects and designers, Nic de Waal of Teknicraft Design, Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand.

Tours run 30 - 45 minutes. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times, no strollers please. Parking is available for tour attendees at All American Marine.
