We don’t pretend to know what makes Tom Douglas’ restaurants in Seattle so dang delicious, but we are forever grateful that their secret spices have been shared with the masses for twenty years! Try their Rub with Love seasoning to improve your salmon grilling experience. Even better, a portion of proceeds from every 3.5 oz Salmon Rub sold is donated to the Alaska Wild Salmon Fund to support the work they do to protect and preserve wild salmon habitat. Did you know that Bellingham is home to some of the most innovative shellfish technology in the world? Right here in Whatcom County Tidal Vision is up to some impressive work finding uses for crab shells after all the yummy meat is gone. Their mission to reduce waste from the ocean into sustainable solutions for farming, textiles, food, and clear water by upcycling waste from seafood processors has turned into some pretty neat, and helpful, products. Whose got an athlete or teenager at home? Stuff a stocking or two with their odor neutralizer spray!
