How to celebrate the Salish Sea without the crowds at this year’s Bellingham SeaFeast.
There’s a little something for everyone at Bellingham SeaFeast - yes, even those who would prefer to get their seafood to-go and enjoy it on their own couch. Although we invite you to join the crowd here in the harbor to eat, play and dance the day away on the shores of Bellingham Bay, we also understand maybe that’s not your thing. Here are some ideas for how to hit some favorites without the hustle and bustle of a big crowd.

Friday, September 20th 4-7pm at Central Pier near Waypoint Park & 8:30 at the Pickford Film Center
Try our exclusive collab with Acme Ice Cream at SeaFeast Locals’ Night!
A few of our favorite seafood trucks kick off the weekend with us at the new Granary Building near Waypoint Park on Central Pier. Try Fork & Fin’s fish & chips with furikake seasoning or Anthony’s Finn’s poke tacos. Then top it off with one of our ice cream collabs with Acme Ice Cream...like the lemon-parsley palate cleanser or the creamy kelp ice cream with nori flakes. Head up the hill toward downtown and duck into Fourth Corner Frames on your way to the Pickford Film Center to see maritime artist, Tom Crestodina of The Scow, who takes a closer look at the boats that pass through Bellingham Bay and beyond. These tours are fascinating looks into a part of the working waterfront that is typically less visible to the public. Both All American and Bornstein Tours are at their HQ on Hilton Ave, just off Roeder Ave and a bit away from SeaFeast’s main crowd. You’ll walk away with more appreciation and understanding of what truly goes on throughout our busy waterfront.

Saturday evening, September 21st beginning at 6:30pm at Honey Moon Mead & Cider, Mount Baker Theatre Encore Room, and Boundary Bay’s Mountain Room. Choir of the Salish Sea at 7:30pm at the Whatcom Museum Rotunda Room.
Saturday evening, grab a drink and sit back as the Fisher-Poets-on-Bellingham-Bay bring you along on their poems and tales of summers and lives at sea. Choose from Honey Moon Mead & Cider, the Mount Baker Theatre Encore Room, Boundary Bay’s Mountain Room, and The Whatcom Museum Rotunda Room where the choir of the Salish Sea takes you on a journey during their “Seaside Rendezvous” performance. Visit any of these locations with your $10 FisherPoets button, sold at the doors of each venue. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Beer & wine is available at each venue...plus mead at the Honey Moon!
